SUPERIOR drm free MP3 quality

All our MP3's are encoded in high quality MP3 at a bitrate of 320 kBit/s and are DRM free.

So what does it mean?

320kBit/s:

This is equal to the maximum quality you can encode MP3 at. As a comparison, at the time of writing this article Amazon encode their tracks at a bitrate of 256kBit/s which is 20% lower bitrate than our tracks.

There are thousands of discussions on the net regarding the differences between e.g. bitrates of 256 and 320, and sure enough it is quite confusing. Can you make out the difference?

Well, just to be sure we decided to go for the best available MP3 bitrate. It means that each track will get a little bigger, but in the big scheme of things we believe the added size and the little extra download time is worth it.

Size of a downloaded track:

Typically a 3 minute track encoded at 320 kBit/s is around 7,2 MB whereas a track encoded at 256 kBit/s is around 5MB.

DRM Free.

DRM stand for Digital Rights Management, and enables many online shops to restrict your use of the purchased tracks. With us delivering DRM Free tracks we ensure that you can play your purchased MP3's on your other PC's, Ipods, and so on.
